Lincoln Bowl, gets a facelift with QubicaAMF’s BES X scoring system and Harmony ball returns.
June 21, 2016 (Mechanicsville, VA) – Popular UK centre, Lincoln Bowl, gets a facelift with QubicaAMF’s BES X scoring system and Harmony ball returns. Lincoln Bowl prides itself on customer service, value for money and quality - a modern centre with first class facilities and a restaurant that offers good quality home cooked food.
From its small beginnings back in 1983 with just 8 lanes, the family run business increased to 20 lanes in 1991 and has just completed a major refurbishment. Centre Manager Andi Turner explained that owner, Bill Craddock, now retired, has handed over the operation of their businesses, which also includes a Holiday Park, to his son Simon.
Like many, the business was hit with the recent UK recession but with the upturn over the last 3 years, it was decided that now was a good time to start investing in the future. Andi went on to explain that their scoring system was coming to the end of its life and needed an update. They had looked at the options but after viewing BES X in action they were sold by how cool it looks and what it can do for customers. "The consoles unsurprisingly are being embraced by the younger guests. They just know what they are doing and you see them swiping the screens looking for more features."
The scoring has been a big hit with customers and business is up since it was installed last year. "You Toons is the most popular" says Andi when asked what is currently doing well for them.
Facebook is already on at Lincoln Bowl and you can log in and let your people know you got a strike or scored well and the centre will host the QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup qualifier later this month.
